Bank holiday in London

Hello !!!!

New post, new city πŸ™‚

So here I’m gonna talk about my trip to LONDON.

As you may or not know I was working all summer and making muuuny πŸ™‚

In august I got 4 days off as it was a bank holiday in France. And I told myself why not going abroad and enjoy this free time from 13th to 15th of august. Last time I went to London was 10 years ago, 10 YEARS AGO YES ! I still remember it was one of my first trip abroad. I went with my school for a week exchange.

Anyway, this time I was going alone (not really alone cause I have friends there) and exploring the city. As always I booked an AirBnb to stay the 3 nights in London. My Airbnb was in Marylebone area which is kinda north-west from the center. The area is really nice and really cool.

Here is a link for the Airbnb , I recommend this very much because it is very well located, very clean and the host is really great. It’s a bit expensive but you know it’s london everything is expensive.

I visited almost all the center and went to Camden Town and other many places, even around my neighborhood :

With my friends we went to Notting Hill.

This is such a lovely area of London, all the colorful houses and the ambiance there is so chill. It is also one of the most expensive area.

Camden is a lot different πŸ˜€

There is a big market there where you can find a lot of things. It is really touristic but also still kind of undergound culture.

Also went to Covent Garden where I bought souvenirs for my family 10 years ago. It has changed so much ! It is really beautiful now.

Also went to Kensington and Chelsea !!

These are 2 of the richest area in London. Kensington is really known for the majority of french people living there, there is a lot of french institutions like “LycΓ©e FranΓ§ais”.

On the evening, I went admiring the sunset at Little Venice, even tho the sunset was not that beautiful because of the clouds 😦

Well, thank you for reading my post and hope you liked it. London is really a great city with so much diversity and dynamism.

For now, I’m starting my Master’s Degree in Bordeaux so I will be based there. I already have done a post about Bordeaux but I think I will do another one when I’ll know the city better πŸ™‚
